Seminar: Changes in Entrepreneurs’ Relief: Implications for share structuring and schemes

Please join us for a free breakfast seminar with Peter Gouw, Partner at BDO, with a background in tax and valuations. Peter specialises in share structuring, share schemes and the relative valuations. He is also involved in valuations for commercial, accounting and forensic purposes. Peter has been with BDO since 2012 and before that trained and worked with KPMG in London and Glasgow.

The autumn 2018 budget unexpectedly included some major changes to Entrepreneurs’ Relief (“ER”), which led to immediate discussions with the Treasury and HMRC by the profession, and changes in the proposed legislation. With the dust now settling, what are the implications for private company share structuring? In addition, some share schemes used the old ER rules to significant effect – with the changes what are the likely developments for share schemes going forward?

If you are interested in attending, please contact Michelle Moran for an invitation.
